Rockside

Rockside is a bright and airy self-catering cottage in a lovely location overlooking Trearddur Bay in the Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sleeping up to 12 guests, it's perfect for hosting groups of friends or families seeking a unique base in North Wales. And being pet-friendly, you can bring the whole clan along.

The cottage has an open-plan living area that makes for a very comfortable spot to spend your time when you’re not out exploring. There's a kitchen area with a fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, and a dining and sitting area with two flatscreen TVs, Netflix, and a SONOS wireless hi-fi system. The property also has also two wood-burning stoves – one in the open-plan space and another in the separate lounge – so you can choose where best to wind down for the evening. There's also a utility room and a ping pong table in the garage, while of the house's six bedrooms, three come with their own en-suite bathrooms, plus there are two family bathrooms and a couple of ground-floor shower rooms and toilets.

Best of all is the location, perched on a rock right by the sea. You’re just a short stroll from the beach – both your own private pebble beach immediately below and Trearddur Bay's lovely sandy beaches. There's plenty to do nearby, including visiting the nearby South Stack Lighthouse RSPB reserve, but the house is so nice you might just want to stay put and enjoy the views, and there's a large natural garden and headland terrace (with a BBQ and firepit) where you can do just that –  preferably from the comfort of your own hot tub!
