In a great position right by the river, as the name suggests this is a former granary-turned-pub set over two floors. Today the interior is all bleached wood and contemporary decor, with an outdoor riverside terrace. As well as good wines and real ales, the pub does some excellent food, including a tasty venison shank pie (£16.50) and a huge and varied vegetarian sharing platter (£16.50). Dog-friendly too.
