Pubs with Rooms in Wales

In a land of natural beauty and plenty, you want to stay as close to the heart of things as possible, so you can't do better than one of Wales' excellent local pubs and inns. They serve terrific, locally sourced food and drink – from lamb and fish to artisan beer and gin – and it's easy to make a night of it, because many pubs in Wales also have very comfortable rooms for guests too. You can find traditional pub-style B&B easily enough, but the places we like tend to focus on their gourmet food and boutique rooms – whether that's a modern Welsh take on country style or a designer touch with decor and furnishings. Either way, you've love meeting the locals, eating the produce and sampling the regional ales and drinks, knowing that all you have to do at the end of the night is toddle off upstairs to bed!
