For us, there's something about the name Driftwood Boutique Guest House that conjures up summer trips to the seaside, basking on the beach and enjoying endless sunny days without a care in the world. If you feel the same, you won't be disappointed by this gorgeous boutique B&B, recently refurbished and offering six beautiful guest rooms and a self-catering lodge in a glorious beachside location.

Situated on the popular northwest coast of Anglesey, North Wales, Driftwood's rooms either enjoy wonderful views of the sea or of the mountains. Of the six double rooms, three have king-size or super-king-size beds, one is a regular double, and there are two larger rooms that can be used as twins or family rooms. They are bright and contemporary, with a seasidey, almost New England look and feel, and they all come with high quality, comfortable beds and bed linen, good wifi and Smart TVs, tea- and coffee-making facilities, large wardrobes and dressing tables and en-suite bath or shower rooms equipped with towels, robes, slippers and posh toiletries. Some rooms also accept dogs, plus, just in case you prefer to self-cater, there is a one-bedroom lodge in the grounds that comes with all the same facilities but has its own entrance. Its bedroom has a king-size bed, and there's an en-suite bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, a sofa bed so you can accommodate extra guests and a dining table and chairs – plus you can still order breakfast in the main house if you're feeling lazy!

Finally, the location is truly idyllic, right in the heart of the seaside village of Rhosneigr and just footsteps from not one but two huge sandy beaches – both of which are among the best on the island. There are lots of opportunities for watersports, with surfing and windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding all possible nearby, and Rhosneigr is home to a couple of great pubs and some decent restaurants and cafés. You also couldn't be better placed for exploring the rest of the island, with its 120 miles of amazing coastline and any number of great walks and cultural sights to explore.

Driftwood provides a level of accommodation that is in short supply within the village of Rhosneigr, and offers room combinations that can incorporate twin beds, z-bed & cot options in certain rooms, as well as a dog-friendly room for those that just can’t bear to leave their best friend at home.

In addition to the six internal rooms, the residential annex has also been refurbished and reimagined as a luxury, self-catered lodge.

Driftwood is a stunning boutique guest house situated in the beautiful village of Rhosneigr and just a short stroll from the beach and the heart of the village, where there is plenty to see and do. Refurbished to the highest standard in 2022, the boutique guest house provides the facilities of a luxury hotel combined with the warmth and friendliness of a local Boutique Guest House.

Completely refurbished to the highest standard in 2022, the property is set over three storeys and enjoys wonderful views of the sea, mountains and RAF Valley from the second and third floors. Decorated in soothing colours which complement and reflect the surrounding landscape and village of Rhosneigr, the rooms are furnished with Normandy blue pieces which provide an elegant, stylish but traditional finish.
