Inverness

Inverness the capital of the Scottish Highlands. Everything anybody could want in one place. Great for its versatile mix of shops, cafes, markets all in a traditional old town feel city. Inverness also has wonderful wildlife and views that are out of this world. If it's red kites, ospreys or dolphins you would like to see, Inverness has it all, and much much more. Loch Ness, on the outskirts of Inverness, is also well known for its famous monster Nessie, which occasionally puts up an appearance to keep the visitors coming back, hoping to get a glimpse of Scotland's favourite legend. As for the scenery, you have mountains, the sea, the river, the canal and loch all crammed in for maxiumm perfection. Inverness really is the place, if you want everything in one place. I love it, and think anyone who tries Inverness for a short bank holiday break to a two week holiday, will be raving about Inverness as much as me.
