The Cheerful Chilli

The Cheerful Chilli is a small vegetarian cafe situated in an old barn opposite Otley Chevin in West Yorkshire. This simple sentence simply does not do justice to what is now our favourite eating place! They serve the most amazing home cooked vegetarian food, with the emphasis on fresh, local and when possible organic. The menu is not huge, but the range of tastes and flavours is amazing, with recipes from all over the world. The tearoom is only open at weekends, but the restaurant opens Tuesday–Saturday evenings, and although they're not licensed, they do have a "bring your own" policy which also helps keep the cost down. Having said that, it's not expensive anyway. It is one of those places where you can turn up in walking boots or your Sunday best and you'll always feel comfortable. As you can probably tell, I can't fault "the chilli" - try it, and you'll see why...
