Treat yourself to a table on the waterside balcony at one of the city’s original contemporary dining places, located in the same converted grain warehouse as the boutique hotel 42 The Calls (though independent of the hotel). The menu is a tempting walk through locally sourced ingredients and dishes, from duck confit on bubble-and-squeak mash to a fillet of Yorkshire beef; and, with their own patisserie on site, desserts are uniformly yummy.
