Set up by two schoolfriends in 1999, Marlow's microbrewery has thrived and it now turns out 125 barrels a week of cask-conditioned ales. The stalwarts are Rebellion IPA, Mutiny ale and Smuggler bitter, but you can also sample half a dozen other ales in season, plus a nautically-themed Beer of the Month. The brewery sits in a converted farm on the fringes of Marlow, and supplies hundreds of pubs in the area. You can do a tour on the first Tuesday evening of each month (the cost includes lots of beer tasting and a barbecue!), and the shop is open six days a week, where you can stock up on bottles or a keg for a party.
