The sight of a troop of soldiers marching up the high street to Windsor Castle – often accompanied by a band – is a routine yet strangely stirring sight in Windsor. Position yourself by the Castle just before 11am for the march-by, or be inside the Castle to see the actual changing ceremony, which takes about 30 minutes.
