A humdrum cream frontage conceals a much-loved neighbourhood Moroccan, run by the family behind one of Marrakesh’s signature restaurants. Tiled tables and draped banquettes give a vaguely north African vibe, but the real emphasis is on the food. Couscous, tagine and fish dishes are authentic, good value and melt-in-the-mouth Moorish; and the staff knowledgeable and attentive.
