The Old School Beauly

The Old School Beauly is an uber-cool department store tucked away in the sleepy village of Beauly in The Highlands of Scotland. It's won a clutch of national retail awards for its unique merchandise and whacky way of displaying its goods. Set in an old Victorian school building, each of the old classrooms has been painstakingly and beautifully refurbished and now showcase gorgeous homewares, a Willy Wonka-esque kids department, a pretty cool mix of cutting edge Scandi-Scottish ladies clothing, Scottish crafted jewellery, leather & tweed bags and special gifts for the Highland gent. The Old School Canteen now offers a fusion of "Nordic meets the Highlands" homewares, with gorgeous ceramics, furnishings, wall art, rugs and candles. There's even a wee coffee pod too where you can put your feet up and browse the (very) extensive range of books. After browsing each nook and cranny in the shop you can visit the neighbouring  historic Beauly Priory and the well maintained Old School orchard. Total bliss!
