Spooky Britain

Things have started to get rather spooky around Britain lately, with forests becoming enchanted, ghosts being summoned and train services getting even more frightening.  Look out Britain, you're in for a scream this Halloween...

Tulleys Shocktober Fest

It's easy to see why Tulley's horrific Halloween festival gets more and more popular each year. With stuff like the Haunted Hayride, the Woodshock live music stage, frightening theatre acts and (oo-err!) an After Shock bar, it's great for all the family.

York Maze Hallowscream

Be prepared to scream at this five-part live horror experience set within the giant twists and turns of York's Maze.  The five parts include a live séance, a 'reincornation' of Corny the clown, the Freak Show and 'Barnageddon'. Too scary for kids!

Phobophobia at London Bridge

Phobophobia mean quite literally "a fear of fears", and is definitely not for kids – or the faint-hearted for that matter.  Hosted by the folk who run the London Bridge Experience, prepare for total darkness, disorientation and pure horror as you crawl about the tombs beneath.

Eastbourne Fortress Ghost Hunt

The spooky 19th-century Redoubt Fortress is the home of one of the best adult ghost hunts in the country.  Connect with the ghosts of Napoleonic past as you wander through the dark barracks and tunnels.

Spooktacular

Can you handle the fear factor? A movie tape has been found, but all the actors and crew members are missing. The film tapes hide a secret that must be uncovered. Are you game? Definitely for over 18s.

Halloween at the Farm

Something seriously spooky is going on over at Hop Farm this Halloween.  Ghoulish face painting, an enchanted castle, space spinners, indoor entertainment and a 4D cinema – all perfect for kids, plus it's completely free.

The Witchy Walk

Witches have taken over Crathes Castle. The only way to defeat them, is to catch them. Nigel the Ninja Witch Catcher needs help in order to hunt the wicked witches down. A great family theatre experience that will leave you feeling rather spooked.

Cardiff Castle Ghost Tour

On all Hallows Eve, Cardiff castle becomes a frightening, spooky fortress, teeming with spirits and tales of the past. Grab your family tight as you walk around the dark castle in horror but only venture into the mysterious clock tower if you dare...

Halloweden

Follow the trail around Cornwall's Eden Project and prepare to get a fright or two.  There are wand-making work shops to combat evil, story-telling, pumpkin carving and positive potion workshops to help you create your perfect Halloween spell.

Brick or Treat

There's an enchanted forest in Legoland Windsor this October, riddled with secrets and clues which can only be solved by facing the demons within.  You can build lego pumpkins, cast spells and and even meet Frankie, the bolt-necked monster.
