The bling choice in the city centre is the high-spec Radisson, housed in what was once the headquarters of the Leeds Permanent Building Society and is now part of an all-encompassing Light entertainment and leisure complex. Designer rooms come with contemporary, art-deco or Italian style and flair, while the soaring lobby, restaurant and bar (once the main banking hall) attract city meet-and-greeters. The big buffet breakfast is especially good, or you can simply grab a coffee and croissant in one of the outlets in The Light. There's also a pool, health club and sauna over in The Light, which you get as part of the deal as a hotel guest (nominal fee for standard rooms, free for other room grades).
