There is a chance of course that you won't want to leave the site at all. Gulliver has the cosiest double bed set into its roof, a kitchenette with a fridge and electric oven and grill, a two-ring gas hob, robes and slippers and a wood-burning stove for cosy nights in. Outside, there's a wood-fired hot tub for lazy evenings gazing up at the stars, an open-air shower (with hot water galore) and even an outdoor TV you can view from the hot tub. There's also a firepit for alfresco dinners.
If you can tear yourself away from all this, there's a pub in the village, and both the cool seaside town of Whitstable and Canterbury itself are within walking distance – following the Crab & Winkle Way from the site. The Druidstone wildlife park is next door to the site, and the Royal and you can strike out into the countryside on any number of other footpaths and byways. Above all it feels a long way from anywhere but you're actually only an hour's drive from London. Lazy glampers, come this way! Relaxing,comfy,compact and tranquill
Everything you need at hand. A very well organised and equipped campervan. Secluded and private. The whole weekend even with the rain didn’t dampen our spirits.
