A farmers’ market selling organic meat, veg and fruit as well as cheese and unpasteurized dairy products. There’s also an excellent wine merchant stocking a number of lesser-known wines, and several bakeries and food stalls serving cakes, salads, sandwiches and the like. The produce isn’t cheap, but it is excellent quality and always local. Kent may be called the garden of England, but its really the well established allotment of England, when you look at the range of fresh fruit and veg available! The Goods Shed restaurant overlooks the stalls and is also worth popping into.
