You have to go, simple!
Lahloo Pantry, Bristol
Wow, what a find! I didn't think I liked tea, but the smell of the suasage rolls tempted me in. The knowledgable staff talked through my taste and advised me on what tea I might enjoy. And they were right, I loved it! A great setting with an atmospheric and relaxing buzz all at the same time. -
Too pebbly?!
Newgale Beach, St Davids
Newgale is only too pebbly if you visit at high tide - from an hour or so after high until and hour or so before you'll have up to two miles of sand to play on - surely enough for anyone?! -
Wonderful local produce
Winchester Farmers’ Market, Winchester
The farmers' market in Winchester has a great variety of produce throughout the year. From New Forest venison to Isle of Wight shellfish; organic vegetable and fruit and there always great pies and cakes. Even if you do manage to resist buying there is still a great deal to see. A lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. -
Totally tropical
St Martin’s on the Isle, Isles of Scilly
I haven't stayed here but I would love to. We came here after a long beautiful day on the beach on St Martins to wait for the ferry back to St Mary's which serendipitously goes from the little pier just near the hotel at certain times of day, depending on the tide. We sat outside under the umbrellas you can see in the picture and it really felt as if we were somewhere much further away. It is so beautiful and the perfect stopover for ice-cream or a cocktail after a day on the island. I did have a quick look around inside and it looked absolutely lovely. I have this place booked in my mind for one day when my husband and I can afford to have a luxurious weekend away. Or maybe a week. Or maybe a month... -
Fond memories
Primrose Hill, Camden Town
Some of my best experiences of London involved hanging out on the hill with my friends – definitely should be at the top of your list when visiting London.
