Café des Amis

95 St Dunstan’s Street Canterbury CT2 8AD 01227 464 390

We say

The Café des Amis du Mexique, to give it its full title, is a superior Tex-Mex restaurant using fresh ingredients to create some slightly unusual Mexican dishes, such as duck with molé sauce, or roasted vegetable tostadas. This place has bags of atmosphere and is busy most evenings, so it's always worth booking ahead. Keep an eye out too for the quirky artwork, papier mache pieces by local artists.

Lovely Restaurant ★★★★★

Best eatery in Canterbury in my opinion with friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Food is superb and reasonably priced given the big portions and there's an excellent range of cocktails.
