The cottage is mostly single-storey with the master bedroom at one end of an orangery-style lounge that has a window of walls out to the secure enclosed garden. This accessible room with its super-king-size bed and en-suite are just off the lounge. A generously sized super-king is upstairs from the kitchen, with the family bathroom downstairs. Exposed stone walls and timbers combined with natural colours and themed patterns of horticulture and garden birds keep your focus on the outdoors even when indoors.
At the other is a modern country-cottage-style kitchen with a butler sink, range cooker and farmhouse dining table. There’s a handy utility room too – the ideal place to clean muddy paws after walks in the surrounding Ceredigion countryside. In fact, this self-catering house is ideal all round for dogs and their owners, providing thoughtful facilities and a generous doggy welcome pack that are a signature of all the Plas Llangoedmor Estate properties.
While pet pooches settle down into the luxury dog bed provided, you can be making yourself at home as well. On sunny days, that may mean relaxing on the suntrap terrace with dinner from the barbecue or pizza oven; on cooler ones, perhaps snuggling up on the sofa in front of the log burner, enjoying the sunset over the valley. This house is great for all seasons and celebrates the beauty of the surrounding countryside and local wildlife – you can even check the live stream from the bird box on your Smart TV.
This is a place for those who want to explore the Ceredigion countryside – be sure to seek out the enchanting waterfall in the nearby woodland. The property is just a mile from the amenities of Cardigan and not much further to the dog-friendly beaches and coastal path. This is the very south of epic Cardigan Bay, with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park just a few miles south and the Preseli Hills in the near distance. Outdoor adventure of any kind is never far away!
