Situated in a prime location in Old Hunstanton, Cliff Farmhouse B&B Suites goes the extra mile for its guests, many of whom return again and again to sample the hospitality offered by owners Graham and Vicky. With guest suites rather than guest rooms, and with Hunstanton's glorious beach and cliffs just footsteps away, it's no ordinary B&B, and definitely a cut above many of the others along this stretch of the North Norfolk Coast. It's also a tremendous base not just for the seaside resort of Hunstanton but for the coast all the way from Snettisham to Wells, not to mention the rural delights that await you just inland.

Cliff Farmhouse has just three individually designed boutique suites, each with their own private sitting room and spacious bedroom with super-king-size beds and good quality linen. They're beautifully furnished, very private and spacious, more like mini-apartments really, with spacious en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower and every other amenity you could need, including a fridge, toaster, and coffee and tea facilities (including a Nespresso machine), robes and environmentally kind toiletries, underfloor heating, wifi and USB charging, Roberts radios, and not one but two Smart TVs! One suite also has its own private outdoor patio, and all three have access to the south-facing garden.

But Cliff Farmhouse is about more than just the facilities – though these are on a par with any decent hotel.  It's the personal service and attention to detail that Graham and Vicky provide. You can check in automatically but they will always make a point of saying hello during your stay, and genuinely nothing is too much trouble – from the delicious breakfasts they serve in your own suite to the in-house holistic massages they can arrange. There's also parking for each suite and a charing point for electric vehicles.

Don't be spending all your time indoors though! Graham and Vicky are a mine of information on the attractions of the surrounding area, which are considerable. Hunstanton is on your doorstep, and they even have their own beach hut you can hire. You'll also find a selection of places to eat and drink within a five-minute walk, including a beach cafe and Neptune, a Michelin-starred restaurant.

Further afield, there are lots of walks you can do from your doorstep – again, Graham and Vicky have all the details you need. Indeed, they can even recommend the best place to hire a bike, which is a great way to explore the surroundings – whether it's east along the coast to the Holme Nature Reserve, Thornham, Brancaster and beyond; inland to delightful villages like Docking and chi-chi Burnham Market; or south to Snettisham RSPB Reserve and Sandringham Estate. And if you'd like to get out and about by bus, there's a stop just 100 metres away where you can pick up the Coast Hopper. You'll be glad you came!
