One of the YHA's most spectacularly sited seaside hostels, with a stunning clifftop position on the Pembrokeshire Coast.

YHA Pwll Deri

Goodwick, Pembrokeshire, SA64 0LR 0845 371 9536

We say

It's a proven fact that the YHA owns some of the most spectacularly situated coastal properties in the country. But this is without doubt one of its best, a remote whitewashed house that overlooks the Pembrokeshire coast from a dramatic clifftop perch. It has only 28 beds divided between 7 rooms, along with a self-catering kitchen, lounge and a lovely dining room with the most stunning views. The name of the hostel ('Pwll Deri') means 'Pool of Oaks' – a great name for a hostel which looks out over 400-ft cliffs into the deep St George channel. But if the house and location is not enough to lure you, maybe the outdoor activities will. – the house is 500m from the 186-mile-long Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and walking is perhaps most obvious thing to do, though there are also good beaches to the south – for example at Whitesands Bay.  The hostel is closed to non-group booking between the months of November to February. Please also be aware that no rooms at the YHA Pwll Deri are accessible for those in a wheelchair as there is a step from the reception to the ground floor facilities.
