Welcoming self-catering farm cottages dedicated to family fun in the Great Outdoors.

Bosinver Farm Cottages

Trelowth St Austell Cornwall PL26 7DT 01726 72 128

We say

As an antidote to the 'nature deficit disorder' now said to to be affecting children in Britain, the experience at Bosinver Farm cottages couldn't be more effective. Firmly entrenched in the Great Outdoors, you can follow Farmer Dave to feed the animals and collect eggs from the hens, look out for wildlife and the Gruffalo on woodland trails, ride ponies, and light campfires, hunt bugs and build dens on the 'Wild Kids' programme. However, once you've left your wellies at the door, life inside the 20 cottages is laid-back and luxurious – not to mention unique. There are dog-friendly cottages, plush farmhouses, a converted chapel and a stylish eco-house with bells and whistles galore. Every family convenience is at your fingertips – from cots and highchairs to indoor soft play and a games barn. And it's an enchanting spot for couples too, for there are few places better to curl up and relax by the log burner.

As of November 2014, Bosinver Farm Cottages won two highly coveted Gold awards at the 2014 Cornwall Tourism Awards - one for "Self-catering Holiday of the Year" and the other for "Sustainable Tourism".

They say

Winners of Visit England's Gold award for the best self-catering in England 2015 and with outstanding guest reviews, Bosinver is a must for those who want to stay in Cornwall.

Bosinver Farm is like an idyllic model village with pretty detached cottages scattered amongst 30 acres of meadows and woodland.  A closer look finds it's far more with extensive facilities including a new heated indoor pool, tennis court, games room, free wifi and play barn. Yet there's enough space to ensure guests' privacy and independence.

We know that it's the simple pleasures of adventures in the woods and fields that make the best memories.  We’ve created a Wild Kids Club and animal trail (with prizes for finding the lot) that leads to the Polgooth Inn, a family friendly pub serving good local food.   Exploring the trail is almost as much fun as making friends with our chickens, ducks and ponies on the daily animal feeding and egg-collecting rounds with Farmer Dave.

Our farm cottages are so comfy our guests often don't want to leave. They are ideal all year round, the beaches are exhilarating and the cottages are as warm as the welcome.
