The Roadhouse is your classic rock'n'roll venue, from the club's winged insignia to the pool table and leather couches, to the road hogs that make up the core of this popular venue's clientele. Indeed its stubborn refusal to pander to passing musical trends has made it a long-standing fixture of the Brum music scene, hosting both local and international bands and beloved of old rockers from all over the city, notwithstanding a less than enticing location on the edge of the city centre. There are open mic nights on Mondays, while the rest of the week sees a programme of wall-to-wall live music, with a decent dose of tribute bands making up the numbers.
