A slick standout store on an otherwise staid stretch of shops on Corporation Street, Urban Outfitters is a bit of a favourite among Brum's young shopping mavens. Over its two trendily designed floors you'll find clothes and accessories that range from hippie chic to catwalk heels to boutique knitwear. It's not especially cheap, and the quality is variable, but they tend to stock stuff other places don't. Away from the modish threads, you'll also find books, gadgets and a whole host of accessories that make great gifts.
