2 North Parade Passage Bath BA1 1NX 01225 446 059
This veggie and vegan restaurant in a historic Georgian townhouse was formerly known as Demuths. Acorn has picked up where renowned vegetarian chef Rachel Demuth left off, and offers a tasty array of carnivore-converting dishes that are inventive and inviting.
I've been eating here for years, in both veggie and carnivore phases of my life, and this is hands down the best veggie restaurant I've ever eaten in. The range of gorgeous foods is dazzling. I'm going back there on Saturday for a special lunch (they don't take reservations on Saturday lunchtimes so get there in plenty of time as they can be busy - but it's worth the wait!)
