The unprepossessing exterior belies a cosy (and popular) spot built around the concept of petits plats, a French take on tapas. Work your way through sampler dishes of roasted tomato tarte fin, snails baked in pernod and garlic butter, and the like. Over 55 wines, the majority from just across the Channel, are available by the glass.

This little restaurant really is worth a visit. Not just for the tasty selection of little French dishes but it is also one of the few places in Bath where you can while the lunch or supper hour away in it's gorgeous courtyard garden. The petit plats boast a broad selection catering for all tastes and they normally have a few specials that supplement their regular dishes which in just another reason to make sure that you just have to come back. The service is always friendly and attentive. This is defenitley one of my favourite places Bath for a meal.
