Located in the heart of Kensington Gardens, the Serpentine Gallery showcases modern and contemporary art. In the grounds of the gallery you'll find a permanent artwork dedicated to Diana, Princess of Wales, by the late artist and poet Ian Hamilton Finlay, which includes a carved stone circle and a selection of benches. Inside, there's an ever-changing temporary exhibition that could feature anything from a site-specific installation to a collection of sculpture, painting or photography. Big name artists including Damien Hirst, Anish Kapoor and Yoko Ono have previously exhibited and standards are always high.
