It makes perfect sense that the incredible Regent's park plays host to one of the biggest and trendiest cultural events in the city. The impressive auditorium is unusually large, with well over a thousand seats, yet despite its size the surrounding trees and leafy foilage of the the park gives the stage a sense of intimacy that cannot be achieved indoors. Year after year, theatregoers of all ages come here to sip Pimms, chow down on picnic hampers and watch some top cultural entertainment, from timeless classics to modern abstracts.  For a more decadent treat you can book a pre-theatre dinner followed by coffee and dessert during the interval, to enjoy in their covered dining area.  At night the stage is illuminated by twinkling fairylights scattered in the surrounding trees. It's a truly magical affair and even the most uncultured individual will still have a good time looking at all the pretty colours.
