An amazing little intimate BYO situated in the Totterdown/Knowle area of Bristol, with a great community, slightly bohemian atmosphere and cozy lighting in the evenings – always very warm and welcoming from the street. Great for breakfast, lunch, coffee or evening meal, with a wide and varied menu using fresh locally sourced produce, cooked fresh and to order. We have experienced this fine service at all times of day, and to top it they even do a takeaway and delivery service if you are fortunate to live close by. The proprietor and staff are friendly and welcoming but not intrusive, and prices are budget level, and of course the BYO helps. The menu throughout the day is innovative, with daily specials but always the lunch tortilla, tapas or generously topped 'gourmet' pizza in the evening. The desserts are great, but be quick to get a slice of cheesecake before it disappears, and there's even a good kids menu, with a basket of small toys/props and books to keep children entertained at the table. The cafe is relaxed but efficient and equally suitable whether you come on your own or as a group. Every meal we have had from this cafe and outing to this cafe has been enjoyable, delicious, and feels a real treat.
