Freshly made, simple, authentic Mediterranean food at mid-week prices

The Olive Branch

21 West End Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire HX7 8UQ 01422 842 299

We say

This tiny Turkish restaurant by the traffic lights in the middle of Hebden is a bit of a hidden gem; its exterior is so modest it’s easy to walk by, but you’d be missing out. They do two courses for £12.95 most nights (except Saturday); their falafel (light, fragrant, homemade) is sensational; follow it with lamb kebab – again, made from scratch, succulent and tender, served with a bulgar wheat salad, hummous and yogurt. A glass of wine takes the bill to £15. Wholesome, honest food at a price that makes the recession feel like history.
