The Wardrobe

The basement is the venue for some really good soul, funk, blues, jazz or reggae gigs several nights a week, while club nights are equally diverse, anything from burlesque to salsa. Add into the mix a classy bar and good restaurant, and it’s no wonder many locals treat this as their favourite night out. Basically, if it’s downstairs and live-music led there’s an admission charge, though DJ nights in the café-bar (Saturdays included) are free, and the bar is open when the venue’s open.
