Mary Arden's Farm

Station Road Wilmcote Warwickshire CV37 9UN

Shakespeare's grandparents were farming folk, and this tudor timbered farmhouse is where his mother, Mary Arden, grew up. A living museum these days, with rare breed animals roaming around and displays of skep (bee-hive) making, basket weaving and bread making, as well as lots of great interactive things for children to get involved in, from feeding animals to pony riding and falconry displays.
