The Vintner derives its name from the 1600s when a wine merchant (vintner) operated out of the premises, and the beautiful timber-framed building has remained largely unaltered since its construction in the late 1400s. Privately owned and well established, it's a popular local joint, serving good food that blends traditional English cooking and modern European cuisine. You’ll also find a comprehensive range of decent wines and beers. A good choice for breakfast, a quick coffee, lunch or dinner.
