Situated on the ground floor of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the RSC Riverside Café and Terrace has both indoor and outdoor seating and is a lovely spot to sit and watch the rowing boats, river cruisers, swans and ducks jockeying for position on the river. The bench seating isn’t the most comfortable in town but there is a railing between tables and river making it a safe spot for those with young children. The self-service menu offers a choice or salads and sandwiches as well as a good selection of drinks, cakes, pastries and biscuits. Free wi-fi too.

What a view ★★★★★

On a sunny day you can't beat the terrace right by the water. You can look down the river to Holy Trinity church and watch the swans and boats go by. A great spot for a drink.
