The boutiquey Andover House hotel’s restaurant, just back from the seafront on the edge of the town's Heritage Quarter, is probably Yarmouth’s best place to eat unless you want fish and chips. a slick joint with a short menu that’s a mixture of well-presented classics and more adventurous options. It can be fussy - and in the context of Great Yarmouth, believe me, it's like eating at the Ritz – but the food is genuinely good, expertly cooked and moderately priced, with a good wine list too.
