Bournemouth Gardens Walk

Central Bournemouth

We say

Follow the River Bourne through Bournemouth’s pleasure gardens on a two-mile walk from the pier up to Coy Ponds. The walk starts in the busy Lower and Central Gardens passing the bandstand, the Bournemouth Balloon, the town centre and the Victorian town hall, before reaching the quieter Upper Gardens, which are surprisingly unspoilt, with attractive landscaped sections and wild woody areas to explore.

You say Average Rating ★★★★★

Pleasure gardens ★★★★★

A walk through the prettiest sections of Bournemouth, though the parks are sometimes a little crowded on weekends - it reminds you of the area's Victorian heyday.
