Follow the River Bourne through Bournemouth’s pleasure gardens on a two-mile walk from the pier up to Coy Ponds. The walk starts in the busy Lower and Central Gardens passing the bandstand, the Bournemouth Balloon, the town centre and the Victorian town hall, before reaching the quieter Upper Gardens, which are surprisingly unspoilt, with attractive landscaped sections and wild woody areas to explore.
