Walk to Old Harry Rocks

Start at Studland

Just 20 minutes’ walk from the attractive village of Studland, these gleaming white chalk stacks rise up from the sea – a spectacular and dizzy sight from the top. Take the well-signed footpath which heads alongside fields to a headland that suddenly drops sheer to the waters far below. The soft limestone stacks at Old Harry have been sculpted and hollowed into caves, and will one day collapse into a similar chalk stump to Old Harry’s Wife – which you can also see from the cliffs.
