National Trust Tearooms

The Square Corfe Castle BH20 5EZ 01929 481 332

We say

Corfe Castle’s wonderful old-fashioned 18th-century tearoom serves cream teas and delicious home-made cakes and puddings, as well as soup and sandwiches for lunch. Make sure you get a table in the garden where you can pour your tea beneath the shadow of the castle and admire the views down the valley.

Best cuppa with a view in the country? ★★★★★

With pretty, flower filled gardens overlooking the castle, this is a perfect spot on a sunny day to enjoy a lovely cup of tea with a scone and jam. On busy days - and it often does get busy on summer days - a small kiosk opens in the gardens to save you having to go indoors to order which is handy. If it's not sunny, there is seating inside the main catearooms themselves. On warm days there are often people here with their dogs lolling in the shade, or with mountain bikes propped up against a wall somewhere, it's very relaxed. The view across to Corfe Castle is wonderful, it's just a stone's throw away.
