Peaceful campsite with spacious pitches and a few static caravans in a raised position overlooking the sea.

From Karrageen, it feels you could almost roll down the hill to the beautiful sandy bay of Hope Cove about a mile below. Neatly laid out, the camping and caravan site offers ample space, with terraced areas separated by low hedges to give private camping zones. The enthusiastic and friendly owners, Phil and Nikki Higgin, keep the site in tip-top condition, with well-tended grass and clean, tidy amenities. The takeaway food menu (traditional, vegetarian, Indian and Oriental) and the croissants and bread in the mornings are a welcome addition, and if you fancy a bit more comfort then you can go old-school glamping – with a small fleet of two-bedroom static caravans on site too.
