The "Swan and Three”, as this perennially popular pub is known, attracts hordes of students and locals alike – mainly for its cheap ale but also its grand riverside location. It's a Sam Smith’s pub, so choices are limited to the brewery – but they do have plenty of lagers, bitters and ales, and even a fruit beer. With a pleasant site overlooking the river, and an outdoor terrace, it’s the perfect summertime hangout.
