Hidden in a white-sand cove at the foot of 'The Island' in St Ives, this is the lesser-known little sister of the Porthminster Café. Overlooking the beach, with world-class views of St Ives Bay & Godrevy Lighthouse, here the food – both beautifully cooked and locally sourced – specialises in Asian and Mediterranean seafood cuisine. A smaller, more relaxed version of its famous relative, the food here is more café style than fine dining, with firm favourites such as fish and chips, mussels and steak on the menu. You're just as welcome to pop in wearing flip-flops for coffee and a croissant, as you are to don your best dress and reserve a window table for a romantic dinner.
