A retro family bungalow just a short hop from Bude’s stunning beaches.

Park View

West Barbary Holidays Borough Farm Kilkhampton Rd Bude Cornwall EX23 9PY 01840 230 990

We say

While much of Cornwall’s accommodation goes to great lengths to flaunt über-modern style, Park View intentionally harks back to the 1950s with its vintage interior. Here you can listen to vinyl records, play old-fashioned board games and help yourself to a tipple from the Navy Bar. But while the harlequin flooring, pink and green walls, English Rose cabinets and bone china tea sets are styled on a bygone era, the facilities are strictly up-to-date, with broadband, an iPod dock and eco central heating. Easily accessible from the A39 (the Atlantic Highway) and close to Duckpool and Sandymouth beaches, this secluded bungalow makes a quirky family holiday home (sleeps 6).

They say

This chic and fun 1950's inspired bungalow is a great home to explore the North Cornwall and Devon coastline. Sleeping 6 in comfort with all modern conveniences the decor and fittings make it a fun place to stay, and being secluded and off road with no neighbours it's ideal for families or, small groups or couples. There is a spacious garden with bbq and deckchairs, and the well appointed kitchen opens out onto the patio.

With full central heating, wifi, DVD's, games, record player and the navy bar to have a tipple at you are sure to have a lot of fun in comfort. We look forward to meeting all our guests and offer a bottle of wine and a cake or similar on arrival.

The local area

Situated close to the coast there are lots of nearby beaches from romantic off the beaten track seclusion to large open sandy beaches with cafes and lifeguards. Dining and days out are myriad with close pubs and villages or the nearby town of Bude with restaurants and cafes.
