Non-Bristolians might know this unique Indian café from the many festivals that it attends each summer; Bristolians know it for its fantastic fresh food. With four locations across the city – Totterdown, Clifton, Montpelier and Easton – every one of the mini-chain’s restaurants is a riot of kitsch and colour, particularly hot pink and turquoise (Clifton’s restaurant also has a Bollywood-themed bar), and serves up delicious fresh Indian curries and salads from a small but well-thought-out menu. Locals buy tiffin tins from the restaurant to be filled up as a takeaway each time they visit and swear they are the best takeaway joint in town.
