Za Za Bazaar is notorious for being the largest restaurant in the UK: an unholy mishmash of cuisines, where you can pile your plate high in an all-you-can-eat buffet of pizza and pasta, fish and chips, Tex-Mex, Indian, Thai and almost every other global food-style you could imagine, while being assaulted by flashing lights, vivid banners and pop music. Doesn’t sound like much fun, does it? Yet this is a great spot for families and large groups (children under 12 eat for half price), with cheap prices and something that everyone will enjoy (including a DIY ice cream counter). It’s not subtle, sophisticated or elegant, but it’s not trying to be, and you might just find it hits the spot.
