The Floating Harbour, Princes Wharf, Bristol BS1 4RN 0117 929 1960
Just along the waterfront from the M Shed museum, the Olive Shed is a waterfront institution and the ideal spot to stop for a bit of people-watching on a sunny day. Tables spill out onto the waterfront, while inside chefs prepare Mediterranean-style tapas. The views are great and the food is thoughtfully sourced. In the evening it’s romantic and even more special, making the most of its unique location – not just because you can sit by the water, but also because it’s tucked away in its own private zone, far away from the bright lights.
This is one of my favourite spots in the whole of the south west, theire Boullabaise is as as good as any I've had in the Vieux port or Fishy Fishy in Kinsale, friendly people with a great little wine list always guaranteed to ha ve good time and a full belly, don't bother with the stuff over the other side take the leetle walk and go over to the Olive Shed, you won't be disappointed!
