A few houses down the road from Anthony Worrall Thompson’s carnivorous Windsor Grill is this sister outlet, a smart but friendly neighbourhood deli. Hearty bloomer sandwiches, home-made sausage rolls and pastries, plus good teas and coffees make for a better class of takeaway, while foodies can stock up their larders with organic pasta sauces, cheeses, chutneys and wine. There are a couple of stools for eating in, but it’s mainly a grab-and-go affair.
