Shoreditch excels with its vibrant bars, pubs and cool clubs, and the café and restaurant scene is pretty hot, too. Bars range from homey table-football favourite Bar Kick to the elegant rooftop bar at Conran’s Boundary Hotel, but there are plenty of traditional boozers and, of course, a number of cutting-edge clubs and venues. The restaurant scene takes in slick gastro-pubs and a few upmarket eateries, including Jamie Oliver’s famous Fifteen and, Michelin-starred, Merchant's Tavern. Like anywhere in london, the range of food on offer is incredibly diverse with modern british cuisine found amongst Italian, Vietnamese and Spanish restaurants, just to name a few.
