Summer is fast approaching, and there’s no better time to visit London. But are you the sort that enjoys a pint in a rustic pub in Greenwich? Or do you prefer a day of retail therapy on Regent Street? HotelClub.com want to know your favourite London experience, and just to show they really mean it they’re giving away a 2-night stay at the 5-star St Pancras Renaissance Hotel for the best answer.
The winner will receive a two-night weekend stay for two people at the stunning St Pancras Renaissance Hotel (worth over £900). Hailed as one of London’s most romantic buildings, The Renaissance has featured in Hollywood blockbusters such as Harry Potter and Batman, and its Grand Staircase is where the Spice Girls shot their ‘Wannabe’ video.
You and a friend will be staying in a Victorian Chamber Suite, the epitome of style and luxury, and the prize can be claimed any one weekend in the next 12 months.
Combining the past with the present, the recently refurbished Renaissance is a 5-star London Hotel that introduces St Pancras to London. Its spectacular gothic revival building is familiar from countless postcards.

Fave London Experiences
To give you some inspiration, we’ve asked some people you may have heard of what their favourite London experiences are. Here’s what they said:
Bill Bryson, Travel Writer:
“My favourite place in London, and the coolest place I know on the planet, is the London Library, but you have to pay for a membership to go in. For free I would suggest a walk through the middle of Green Park and across Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, which has to be the longest, greenest, loveliest and most nearly continuous walk through the heart of any great city in the world.”
Charles Campion, Food Critic:
“My favourite place would be Tayyab’s on Fieldgate Street – the perfect Pakistani grill house – hubbub, great fresh cooked food, steady prices – have the quail and if they’ve run out have the lamb chops…come to think of it have both.”
Esther Freud, Novelist:
“I love cities like London where you can pretend you're in the country, and the Ladies Pond on Hampstead Heath is set in a secluded meadow where women of every shape and age lie reading and chatting, basking in the afterglow of the ice cold water of the pond.”
Geoff Dyer, Writer:
“I like Bluebelles and Lowry & Baker, two cafes almost opposite each other at the very northern end of Portobello Rd (just north of Golborne Rd).”
Pete Lawrence, Founder of Big Chill Festival:
“The Parkland Walk, which runs between Finsbury Park and Highgate Cemetery, is a secluded nature trail which runs along a disused railway line – a great escape from the hustle and bustle all around it.”
