Stately Highland Perthshire lodge that sleeps 16 people in some comfort. Located in the peaceful Highland hamlet of Old Struan this whitewashed lodge has no immediate neighbours, yet is easily accessible from the lifeblood A9. The Victorian-era lodge (which was recently given an architecturally brilliant revamp) is part of the massive Atholl Estates, with plenty to do from hiking and cycling, through to clay pigeon shooting and hunting proper, not to mention the nigh essential visit to Blair Castle at the heart of the estate. The lodge itself boasts two living rooms with open fires, a massive dining room and large kitchen. Adjacent to the main house is a games room complete with a darts board and a full size snooker table. The lawn is the venue for croquet in the warmer months, with a bbq on hand too. Ideal for large groups of friends or special family occasions.
