The Owner Says

This thoughtfully converted cowshed is located within walking distance of Cranleigh, a picturesque village in the heart of the Surrey Hills AONB. The accommodation consists of a separate galley kitchen, a spacious studio bedroom with an adjoining room housing a large walk-in shower/steam room. It sits in its own secluded, landscaped garden with plenty of space to relax in peace.

The style is contemporary, light and airy but cosy with underfloor heating & bright furnishings. The studio room has an extremely comfortable pocket sprung kingsize bed (can convert to 2 singles) with luxurious cotton bed linen. The stylish lounge area has a stable door opening onto a terrace & fields beyond. An eclectic collection of books is housed in a bookcase taking up a full wall – you’re bound to find something to curl up with!

The beauty and variety of the Surrey Hills is often overlooked yet they are a short distance from London. The Cowshed is within yards of the Downs Link so there is good walking & cycling on the doorstep. Any of the hills from Haslemere to Dorking are within easy reach, all with fantastic networks of public footpaths & bridleways – the owners are well versed in local paths and are more than happy to help plan routes.

A Little Gem

A beautifully and tastefully appointed converted milking parlour with parking space. Exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and comfort with a large enclosed courtyard opening onto fields. Kitchen is small but adequate for a short stay. High quality comfortable bed, bedlinen and towels. Large walk-in shower with sauna. Quiet location but within reach of nearby Cranleigh. Good location for walks - some from just outside the door, others a short drive away. Very helpful and friendly hosts, on hand if needed. We loved it!
