Out and about, it's a mile to Walkington, a picturesque village with three inviting pubs, or for a scenic stroll wander down onto the Westwood. Slightly further afield – just half an hour away by car – head to the beaches of Hornsea and Fraisthorpe, or visit Burton Agnes, the impressive Elizabethan stately home. Nature lovers won't want to miss Tophill Low – a haven for otters – whilst North Cave Wetlands is known for kingfishers and peregrine falcons. There are ample walking and cycling opportunities too, including the Minster and Wilberforce Ways.
